Buy your next car online and have it delivered straight to your door
One of the appeals of buying a car online is the convenience factor. Nowadays, you can find, fall in love with and buy your next car, all from the comfort of your sofa. But, did you know that you can even arrange for it to be delivered directly to your door?
While many people prefer to visit a dealer’s showroom to choose and/or buy a vehicle the
traditional way, a growing number of car shoppers are opting to shop online for cars and take advantage of this ultimate hassle-free service. Maybe you’ve test driven the car you want at the showroom but the one with the exact colour or interior you’re after is at the other end of the country. If this is the case, car delivery could be the answer.
Many online car retailers offer a delivery service, usually with conditions, and benefits and services will vary. Chances are that if you’ve bought a car that is located more than 200 miles away, the
convenience of having it delivered straight to your door likely outweighs any costs associated with the delivery.
If you’ve bought a used car through finance and choose to have it delivered, as standard it will normally be delivered to the address on the paperwork.
This will depend on several factors, including your location, the type of vehicle you’ve bought, and the time and day of the week. Some providers will deliver your car for free but check the small print for hidden costs.
If there is a charge, having your new pre-loved car driven to your home address is usually the most affordable option.
In the end it’s entirely up to you how you’d like to receive your new set of wheels – the best option is whichever is most convenient or appealing to you.
Some things to consider when deciding whether to opt for car delivery:
Convenience! Chose a day and a time for your car to be delivered right to your door.
No need to travel across the country on public transport to pick it up.
On the other hand:
You won’t get to see your car up close until its delivered to you.
You won’t be the first person to drive it since you became the owner.
If these things are important, you might prefer to pick it up yourself.
