Oodle’s approach to supporting customers impacted by Covid-19 

Everyone’s circumstances are different. It is our duty as a responsible lender to provide support tailored to your individual needs.  

In accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s guidance, we have a number of options available to support customers experiencing short-term financial difficulty due to Covid-19 which include payment breaks, reduced payment options and other measures. 

This page outlines the best way to contact our team if you need to apply for financial support, and explains our approach to Covid-19 related support in more detail.

If you are paying contractual monthly payments right now (you are not currently on a payment break or reduced payment plan): 

  • Step 1: Please complete this form to request financial support. Once you have completed the form, you will receive an email inviting you to complete an online Income and Expenditure assessment. 
  • Step 2: Please complete the online Income and Expenditure assessment with our partner Tully to help us tailor support to your individual financial circumstances. Please see the FAQs if you have questions about building Tully budget. 
  • Step 3: Our Covid team will call you to discuss available support options.  
    We aim to call all customers within 5 working days but may to need to prioritise most vulnerable customers in the order of their payment date. 

Discussing your current financial support options

If you are already receiving financial support due to Covid-19, we will contact you by email 20 days before your contractual monthly payments are due to resume. We will engage with you to establish whether you need additional support and how to recover any incurred underpayments.

If you are already on a payment break or reduced payment plan and you need to contact us: 

  • Step 1: Please complete this short call request form to help us understand your needs. 
  • Step 2: Our Covid team will call you to discuss available support options.

We aim to call all customers within 5 working days but may to need to prioritise most vulnerable customers in the order of their payment date.   

If you have fallen behind on monthly payments, please contact us to discuss your options.

Applying for new financial support 

If you’re worried about meeting your normal monthly payments because your income has been affected by Covid-19 – through losing your job, losing business or being offered fewer hours – there is support available. To give you support that is right for your individual circumstances we need to understand how Covid-19 has impacted your household budget.
